2018 – Present

Judge Todd Markle was appointed to the Court of Appeals of Georgia by Governor Nathan Deal on December 17, 2018, and was elected statewide in 2020 and 2026. Prior to his appointment, Judge Markle served as a trial judge on the Superior Court of Fulton County and as executive counsel to Governor Nathan Deal. Judge Markle practiced law in Atlanta from 1989 until 2010, most of which was at a firm he founded. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia and Mercer Law School.
