Court of Appeals of the State of Georgia, Atlanta, January 24, 2026
In consideration of the Executive Order issued by Governor Brian P. Kemp on Saturday, January 24, 2026, ordering the closure of state government in the Atlanta area on Monday, January 26, 2026, due to inclement weather, it is hereby ordered that the Court of Appeals of Georgia shall be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026.
Further notice will be provided should conditions warrant an extension of this closure. Updates will be posted at www.gaappeals.gov and shared on social media.
Due Date: Any filing deadlines falling on the date of closure shall be extended to the next day on which the Court is open. See Court of Appeals of Georgia Rule 3.1
